Blue Chip Investing Mindset

Some of my favorite quotes:

"If you find yourself losing sleep over your investments, sell down to the sleeping point."
   - Jesse Livermore

"The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient."
   - Warren Buffett

"Ask yourself : if there was no market for these shares, would I be willing to have an investment in this company?"
   - Benjamin Graham

These 3 quotes underpin my approach to investing.

My 3 Main Principles:

1) I only hold stocks that I like to hold.

2) I am cognizant of the fact that short-term price movements are driven entirely by emotions (fear and greed) while long-term is all about a company's earnings power.

3) I only own stocks that I am comfortable to hold without knowing its share price for 10 years.

What makes a blue chip company?

Investopedia defines a blue chips as "a nationally recognized, well-established, and financially sound company. Blue chips generally sell high-quality, widely accepted products and services. Blue-chip companies are known to weather downturns and operate profitably in the face of adverse economic conditions, which helps to contribute to their long record of stable and reliable growth."

Wealth Generation via Blue Chips

Blue chip investment mindset produces best results when coupled with the power of compounding which Einstein referred to as "the 8th wonder of the world."

I explained this in depth in my video and suggest you watch it.
